ろくぼんたを応援してくれているみなさまへ

いつもろくぼんたのことを見ていてくれてありがとうございます。
突然のご報告になりますが、2026年2月20日（金）11時40分頃ろくぼんたは永眠いたしました。

10日ほど前に腫瘍が見つかり2月22日（日）に手術予定でしたが、19日夜に容態が急変し20日朝に病院にていろいろな処置をしていただき、ろくぼんたも生きようと必死に頑張ってくれたのですが息を引き取りました。
最後は先生により痛みを取り除いていただき、まるで寝ているかのような穏やかな顔でした。

ろくぼんたが愛媛県宇和島市で生まれて3063日（8歳4ヵ月）、かわのそばへ来て2036日（5年7ヵ月）余りにも短い一生を終えました。
まだまだこれから一緒に行きたいところ、やりたいことがたくさんあったのに・・・

かわのそばは、ろくぼんたの宿と言っても過言ではないほどたくさんのお客さまを招いてくれました。
本当にみなさまがろくぼんたにやさしく接してくれて感謝の言葉しかありません。

火葬および納骨が終わりましたので皆さまへご連絡させていただきました。

ろくぼんたは不在となっていますがこれからもかわのそばをよろしくお願いいたします。

To all those who support Rokubonta,

Thank you for always keeping your eyes on Rokubonta.

This is a sudden announcement, but Rokubonta passed away at approximately 11:40 AM on Friday, February 20, 2026.

A tumor was discovered about 10 days ago in his liver, and surgery was scheduled for Sunday, February 22. However, his condition suddenly worsened on the night of the 19th, and he underwent various procedures at the hospital on the morning of the 20th. Rokubonta fought desperately to survive, but he could not make it.

At the end, the doctor relieved his pain, and his face looked peaceful, as if he were sleeping.

Rokubonta was born in Uwajima City, Ehime Prefecture, 3,063 days ago (8 years and 4 months), and came to Kawanosota 2,036 days later (5 years and 7 months), ending his all-too-short life.
There were still so many places we wanted to go and things we wanted to do together…

Kawanosoba has welcomed so many guests that it's no exaggeration to say it's Rokubonta's inn.

We are truly grateful for the love, kindness, and generosity you all showed Rokubonta.

We have contacted you all now that the cremation and burial have been completed.

Rokubonta is no longer with us, but we hope you will continue to support Kawanosoba. Thank you very much.

ろくぼんたへ
僕たちのもとへやって来てくれて本当にありがとう！
とうちゃんもかあちゃんもろくぼんたのことが大好きでこの想いは一生変わりません。
ろくぼんたのおかげで早起きになったし盛岡の四季を毎日歩いて感じることが出来ました。
一緒に過ごした時間はかけがえのないものになりました。
天国でみんなと仲良くするんだよ。
いつまでも空の上から見守っていてね。

Dear Rokubonta,

Thank you so much for coming to live with us!
Your Mom and Dad both love you, and that feeling will never change.
Thanks to you, I've started getting up early and have been able to walk around Morioka every day, experiencing the four seasons.
The time we spent together has become irreplaceable.
I hope you'll all get along well in heaven.
